Conrad Foa was the fourth generation of his family to lead Foa & Son and is acutely aware of the enormous responsibility that an insurance brokerage firm has for its clients. Making certain that Foa & Son understands the needs of its clientele, he ensures that the insurance portfolio has the optimal combination of broadest insurance coverage for the lowest possible premium while providing caring, professional service.

Conrad is very active in his profession and his community. He has served as President and Director of the Insurance Brokers Association of the State of New York; Appointee to the Manhattan (New York) Community Planning Board #8; trustee of The City Club of New York (New York’s oldest good government organization); member of the Panel to Oversee Empire Blue Cross and Return it to Profitability; Board Member of The Omega Society; President and Director of the Executives Association of Greater New York and a founder of the International Executives Association; and Board Member of the prestigious CIVITAS.

Elected to Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), he later became a member of World Presidents Organization. He has the special honor of being among the 1% further elected to Chief Executives Organization. Conrad also served on the board of the non-sectarian Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies, which is an umbrella organization for more than 200 social service agencies.

His political interest has won him election to the New York State Democratic Committee, and before that, he was twice a candidate for the New York State Senate.

Conrad holds a Bachelor of Science, with a major in insurance, from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree from the London School of Economics. He is a Board Member (North America) of the London School of Economics.
