Joann Shelton

Joann Shelton is a Senior Vice President and Director of Insurance Placement at Foa & Son.

Joann has 30 years of experience in insurance marketing, the last 9 of which have been with Foa & Son.

She has her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and is currently applying her talents in domestic and international insurance as Foa and Son’s Placement Team Manager. She has expertise in a variety of businesses including automobile dealerships, retail, wholesale, construction, and manufacturing. Her extensive experience in these and other markets enables her to solve the most complex insurance issues while also providing effective guidance to her direct reports. She also fosters and maintains relationships with the carriers and wholesalers.

Joann’s team markets new business accounts and a portion of the renewal accounts. She and her team take pride in working closely with producers and account executives to ensure that Foa & Son’s clients receive comprehensive insurance coverage at the best possible rates.

In her spare time, Joann enjoys boating, travel, and spending time with her grandchildren.
